When a group of schoolgirls are held hostage in Afghanistan, an American soldier named Jake (Eva Greene) joins a female commando unit to free them. The plan: to win the trust of terrorists by presenting themselves as members of a humanitarian organization. But the deceptions, tragedies and ghosts of Jake’s past complicate the rescue in this dangerous mission.
